Ali Numan Işın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Poulus Farias having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Ali Erdem Tümkan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Poulus Farias was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 18th minute Ramazan Özge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Poulus Farias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RKO AFC's Poulus Farias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulkerim Kaçan in the 20th minute of play. LOTUS's Abdulkerim Kaçan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Abdulkerim Kaçan managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOTUS's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdulkerim Kaçan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Poulus Farias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Poulus Farias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Erdem Tümkan in the 32nd minute of play. Ali Erdem Tümkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Poulus Farias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Erdem Tümkan's late challenge caught a RKO AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Erdem Tümkan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to LOTUS getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ali Erdem Tümkan hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Mustafa Numan İzgü managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOTUS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Numan İzgü was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ali Erdem Tümkan was the one to do the kick off. Ali Numan Işın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Erdem Tümkan in the 56th minute of play forced RKO AFC's goalkeeper Poulus Farias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poulus Farias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andaç Bakanay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 played minutes RKO AFC got a freekick which was hit by Guido Ebensperger. The supporters of LOTUS booed when RKO AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Zuazagoitia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Ali Numan Işın cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Poulus Farias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Erdem Tümkan in the 72nd minute of play forced RKO AFC's goalkeeper Poulus Farias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poulus Farias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Erdem Tümkan in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Mustafa Numan İzgü got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Poulus Farias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Erdem Tümkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Erdem Tümkan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Poulus Farias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mustafa Numan İzgü in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Poulus Farias saved RKO AFC from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in RKO AFC's zone, Abdulkerim Kaçan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Poulus Farias came out of the goal and Abdulkerim Kaçan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Andaç Bakanay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulises Fanjul charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulises Fanjul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes RKO AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Fanjul.
