Marian Stanov charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marian Stanov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 25 minutes of play, Despidida AFC's Roberto Herensuge made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Zerinov was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gurbanovtsi's goalkeeper Antonio Zerinov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edelmiro Haimar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Zerinov having to make a save. When Despidida AFC's Isaias Oihan in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Gurbanovtsi's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Gurbanovtsi's zone, Baldomero Asteri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Zerinov came out of the goal and Baldomero Asteri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, FC Gurbanovtsi's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Herensuge came free, but Antonio Zerinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Herensuge in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Zerinov saved FC Gurbanovtsi from getting behind. A collision led to FC Gurbanovtsi getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Marian Stanov hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Haimar in the 45th minute of play forced FC Gurbanovtsi's goalkeeper Antonio Zerinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petar Keremidchiyski was the one to do the kick off. Stefan Budev hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Baldomero Asteri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Despidida AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Asteri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Despidida AFC's Roberto Herensuge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonio Zerinov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Thanks to some nice moves Edelmiro Haimar could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Antonio Zerinov however easily saved by the left post. Edelmiro Haimar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Antonio Zerinov made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Edelmiro Haimar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Despidida AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edelmiro Haimar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Zerinov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Herensuge got free with Antonio Zerinov in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Edelmiro Haimar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. FC Gurbanovtsi's Antonio Zerinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Asteri in the 76th minute of play. Despidida AFC's Roberto Herensuge was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 81st minute, Marian Stanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Zerinov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edelmiro Haimar in the 85th minute. In the 87th play minute Faustino Gaztea came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Antonio Zerinov. 0-5. FC Gurbanovtsi's Antonio Zerinov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Herensuge in the 93rd minute of play. Antonio Zerinov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaias Oihan in the 94th minute. Despidida AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
