Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Gustavo Raymond made the kick off and thus started the match. Frank Magliocco hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After 9 minutes Cesate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tiburcio Belasko who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's corner Amadeo Fidele fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bruno Carciofo quite easily take care of the ball. After 12 minutes of play, Cesate's Frank Magliocco made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rigoberto Mancio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Ernesto De Lucia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Gaston Nafarroa got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute Tiburcio Belasko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Carciofo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's zone, Claudio Manzoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Mancio came out of the goal and Claudio Manzoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeo Fidele charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeo Fidele the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Olimpo de Bahia Blanca fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Rigoberto Mancio had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Claudio Manzoni's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bruno Carciofo came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Baldomiro Llorenc. But to his dismay, Baldomiro Llorenc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Bruno Carciofo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Llorenc, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Baldomiro Llorenc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Carciofo having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Olimpo de Bahia Blanca got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Raymond. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Manzoni was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Bruno Carciofo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bruno Carciofo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Llorenc, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, Cesate's Enzo Grifoni got a free kick in the 67th minute. Baldomiro Llorenc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
