Isidoro Regis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Efren in the 4th minute of the match. Isidoro Regis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Guillerme, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Felipe Garcia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Fix. Atlético Nacional's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Garcia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 15th minute Felipe Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Fix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeo Barea hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Felipe Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 21 minutes into the match, Atletico Saladillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Efren came free, but Isidoro Regis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleto Efren scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidoro Regis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isidoro Regis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Berriotxoa in the 32nd minute of play. Alfredo Fix didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidel Oriol went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Frisco in the 36th minute of play forced Atlético Nacional's goalkeeper Alfredo Fix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Baltasar Guillerme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Isidoro Regis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the match, Cleto Efren notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Atletico Saladillo FC's Isidoro Regis. Isidoro Regis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute Everardo Johans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Regis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felipe Garcia to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardino Frisco during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60thth minute of the game Cleto Efren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Saladillo FC's Isidoro Regis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Atletico Saladillo FC's Patricio Nesto got a free kick in the 60th minute. After some careless play in the Atletico Saladillo FC defense, Wilfredo Berriotxoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidoro Regis. The Atletico Saladillo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidoro Regis should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Atletico Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Isidoro Regis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfredo Berriotxoa. 66 minutes into the match, Atletico Saladillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Efren came free, but Isidoro Regis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bernardino Frisco was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. After 70 played minutes Atletico Saladillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Frisco. Baltasar Guillerme kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Isidoro Regis came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Nacional's Baltasar Guillerme. But to his dismay, Baltasar Guillerme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. In the 77th match minute, Atletico Saladillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Garcia to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Atletico Saladillo FC's Felipe Garcia got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Everardo Johans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Atletico Saladillo FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Felipe Garcia hit a great ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Primitivo Mendez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Nacional's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Mendez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Atletico Saladillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Efren came free, but Isidoro Regis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Johans in the 90th minute of play forced Atletico Saladillo FC's goalkeeper Isidoro Regis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Atletico Saladillo FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atlético Nacional were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
