After 11 minutes, Saverio Elivareo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Equipo and the MOTAGUA - FFH players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Equipo's Saverio Elivareo got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 14 minutes of play Equipo's Saverio Elivareo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Saverio Elivareo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Equipo's Omar Librado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Pacheco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Camilo Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Orzaize in the 26th minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Equipo's Omar Librado made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Pacheco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Camilo Pacheco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Orzaize in the 36th minute of play. Humberto Hinguanzo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Omar Librado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Pacheco was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 69th minute, Victor Orzaize got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 72 played minutes Equipo got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Barros. After 73 minutes, Ramon Alvarenga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MOTAGUA - FFH and the Equipo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to MOTAGUA - FFH getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ramon Alvarenga hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Victor Orzaize kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Pacheco. That made the score 0-6 in the 80 minute of play. If Omar Librado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Victor Orzaize put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Camilo Pacheco. In the 93rd match minute, Equipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Barros to maneuver through the defense.
