Savage Hippo's Naglis Jonušas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Estevez Lavega in the 4th minute of play. Emilio Alberete hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Emilio Alberete hit a great ball. Sporting Buceo's Guillen Ubiña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Buceo from getting a goal against them. Eduardas Girčius's late challenge caught a Sporting Buceo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardas Girčius helped the player get up and apologised. Sporting Buceo's Sidoro Romeu was substituted for Sengrat Vid. In the 15th match minute, Savage Hippo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardas Girčius to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Xacintu Urruchua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Naglis Jonušas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 20 minutes in the game Algitas Sadauskas did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vaclovas Jacinaitis. In the 26th minute, Rupertas Laurinavičius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Savage Hippo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 29 minutes into the match, Xacintu Urruchua notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Savage Hippo's Naglis Jonušas. Naglis Jonušas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd play minute Vitoldas Kuliešius came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Guillen Ubiña. 3-2. Guillen Ubiña made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Rupertas Laurinavičius sent off a good shot on target. Rupertas Laurinavičius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Guillen Ubiña made a huge save. Xacintu Urruchua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Naglis Jonušas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xacintu Urruchua in the 42nd minute of the match. Emilio Alberete hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Guillen Ubiña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herkus Balsys. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herkus Balsys made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Naglis Jonušas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guillen Ubiña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rupertas Laurinavičius in the 55th minute of the match. Sidoro Romeu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Savage Hippo's Naglis Jonušas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Savage Hippo from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute Herkus Balsys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Ubiña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xarles Gadañon to maneuver through the defense. Guillen Ubiña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaclovas Jacinaitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72ndth minute of the game Xacintu Urruchua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Savage Hippo's Naglis Jonušas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, Sporting Buceo's Xacintu Urruchua ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Naglis Jonušas. Naglis Jonušas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. When Vaclovas Jacinaitis came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Savage Hippo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaclovas Jacinaitis couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Xacintu Urruchua came free, but Naglis Jonušas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xacintu Urruchua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 played minutes, Sporting Buceo's Gutierrre Valseca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Naglis Jonušas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sporting Buceo reached it. Sporting Buceo were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Savage Hippo's much stronger midfield.
