Bedrettin Bektaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Juliusz Ferfecki fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BESTIA GDAŃSK's protests and gave Juliusz Ferfecki a yellow card for diving instead. Juliusz Ferfecki kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Trabzonspor's Barış Yılmaz got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bogdan Kilarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remigiusz Mudry was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Şükrü Yuvakuran showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Işıkalp Zaik dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Remigiusz Mudry, 2-0. Ali Cafer Yener took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaw Dobrowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Trabzonspor's Remigiusz Mudry threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Işıkalp Zaik, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Işıkalp Zaik made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janusz Pieprz during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes BESTIA GDAŃSK got a freekick which was hit by Janusz Pieprz. With his leg Ali Cafer Yener managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when BESTIA GDAŃSK's Gustaw Dobrowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patryk Merski got free with Ali Cafer Yener in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patryk Merski hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Trabzonspor's zone, Bogdan Kilarski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ali Cafer Yener came out of the goal and Bogdan Kilarski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Trabzonspor players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
