In the 17th match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manole Anghel to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Sales in the 18th minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Manole Ghiondea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, one of GD JULIO DINIS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 29th minute, Miguel Sales made a precise shot to the right of Manole Ghiondea. Galati Harbour Cats's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. But to his dismay, Aldaír Ruas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Filipe Semedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurel Crainic in the 37th minute. Filipe Semedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Filip Mavrogheni showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 39 minute of play. A collision led to Galati Harbour Cats getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Fabian Minculescu hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Galati Harbour Cats's Virgil Doinaș got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 57 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Florin Humă. Panait Acalinei charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Panait Acalinei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Galati Harbour Cats's Panait Acalinei got a free kick in the 61st minute. GD JULIO DINIS's Miguel Sales got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, GD JULIO DINIS's Gonçalo Fidalgo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Galati Harbour Cats's Aurel Crainic got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute Manole Anghel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filipe Semedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diamantino Mourinho charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diamantino Mourinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Galati Harbour Cats booed when GD JULIO DINIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Mourinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Manole Ghiondea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Sales. 81 minutes into the game, Miguel Sales recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manole Ghiondea. Miguel Sales showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. Aurel Crainic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Semedo having to interfere. Manole Anghel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Filipe Semedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomé Calçada in the 93rd minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Manole Ghiondea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over GD JULIO DINIS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Galati Harbour Cats throughout the match.
