Galati Harbour Cats's Manole Ghiondea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Galati Harbour Cats from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Galati Harbour Cats's zone, Sebastian Laurentzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manole Ghiondea came out of the goal and Sebastian Laurentzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Mavrogheni during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Filip Mavrogheni. The supporters of Noqueces FC booed when Galati Harbour Cats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Macamete didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Noqueces FC's Israel James got a free kick in the 17th minute. Aurel Crainic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Erlantz having to interfere. Noqueces FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Inocencio Ferran in the 23rd minute. Inocencio Ferran made a great header on Noqueces FC's corner, it was just that Galati Harbour Cats's Manole Ghiondea managed to reach the ball for a save. 36 minutes into the match, Noqueces FC's Adolfo Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manole Ghiondea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sebastian Laurentzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Manole Ghiondea made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurel Crainic made a kick off. When Aurel Crainic came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Galati Harbour Cats fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurel Crainic couldn't finish the play. Galati Harbour Cats's Aurel Crainic got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, Sebastian Laurentzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Manole Ghiondea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 61 minutes into the game, Noqueces FC's Sebastian Laurentzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manole Ghiondea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 96 played minutes, Noqueces FC's Inocencio Ferran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manole Ghiondea came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Noqueces FC reached it. Noqueces FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
