But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theodosis Giannou couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes Torstensson in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vassilis Sapanis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27 minutes of play, Linköpings AIK's Johannes Torstensson made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The referee ignored Linköpings AIK's protests and gave Jens-Ove Svensson a yellow card for diving instead. The referee showed Johannes Torstensson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of PAOK FC booed when Linköpings AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Torstensson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
