After taking down the ball on Blomstermåla BK's corner Lennart Nilsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bahadır Ömür quite easily take care of the ball. When Sakarias Melin fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blomstermåla BK's protests and gave Sakarias Melin a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes F.C internazionale got a freekick which was hit by Kuddusî Ateşoğlu. Åke Johnsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Emrah Seylab went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Zeki Ongu's late challenge caught a Blomstermåla BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeki Ongu helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes F.C internazionale got a freekick which was hit by Zeki Ongu. Åke Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuddusî Ateşoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Åke Johnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuddusî Ateşoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Cengiz Pekdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Johnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bahadır Ömür made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Hääger in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, F.C internazionale's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Bergfeldt came free, but Bahadır Ömür reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörgen Bergfeldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bahadır Ömür having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Olov Hääger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bahadır Ömür was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. If Ahmet Necdet Yücel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blomstermåla BK's Åke Johnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Necdet Yücel in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Şemsettin Oğuzer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Åke Johnsson.
