Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) alvarado's Abel Bordat started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Valeriu Achiriloaie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Dan lost his temper 4 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave alvarado a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jairo Caradaro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club Vertigo's Gelu Pașcalău. 0-1. If Jairo Caradaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Sabin Corcoveanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Ostadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Bordat kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's Sabin Corcoveanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciro Ostadar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jairo Caradaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gelu Pașcalău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Bordat in the 36th minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Gelu Pașcalău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Bordat took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gelu Pașcalău. Gelu Pașcalău dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Club Vertigo defense, Abel Bordat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gelu Pașcalău. The Club Vertigo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gelu Pașcalău should have stopped the shot. After 46th play minutes Jairo Caradaro shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Gelu Pașcalău and just under the crossbar into goal. After the first half alvarado were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sabin Corcoveanu was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, alvarado's Jairo Caradaro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gelu Pașcalău. Gelu Pașcalău yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Sabin Corcoveanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Sarracino during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Inocencio Sarracino kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Răzvan Davidescu charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Răzvan Davidescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gelu Pașcalău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Bordat in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Bordat came free, but Gelu Pașcalău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Berceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ciro Ostadar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Bordat came free, but Gelu Pașcalău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sabin Corcoveanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gelu Pașcalău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Jaume, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, alvarado's Nicasio Jaume ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gelu Pașcalău. Gelu Pașcalău yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. After 88 played minutes alvarado got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Jaume. The Club Vertigo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching alvarado's performance. The match ended with a win for alvarado.
