A collision led to Twierdza Wroclaw getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Antoni Niezywy hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Justino Huly got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Twierdza Wroclaw's Wlodzimierz Frenzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Abeitia in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Tres Lomas FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Aristides Napier hit a great ball. Baltasar Arnalt hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislaw Psotka in the 23rd minute of play forced Tres Lomas FC's goalkeeper Martín Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Tres Lomas FC booed when Twierdza Wroclaw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Niezywy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justino Huly struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Wlodzimierz Frenzel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tres Lomas FC. In the 36th minute, Twierdza Wroclaw's Karol Smolarek ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martín Herrera. Martín Herrera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 43 minutes into the match, Ermegildo Bertol notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Twierdza Wroclaw's Wlodzimierz Frenzel. Wlodzimierz Frenzel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leszek Wysocki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ermegildo Bertol was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 52 minutes into the match, Twierdza Wroclaw's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Bertol came free, but Wlodzimierz Frenzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Manni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Wlodzimierz Frenzel made a huge save. After 54 minutes, Patricio Manni made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Twierdza Wroclaw's Wlodzimierz Frenzel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Twierdza Wroclaw's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Patricio Manni scored to the left of an out of position Wlodzimierz Frenzel, making the score, 1-3. Tiburcio Lop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Twierdza Wroclaw's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Frenzel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Patricio Manni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Wlodzimierz Frenzel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 85 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Lop dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wlodzimierz Frenzel, 1-6. Wlodzimierz Frenzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Bertol, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Patricio Manni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wlodzimierz Frenzel. Twierdza Wroclaw's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patricio Manni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. The Tres Lomas FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tres Lomas FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
