Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jairo Soeiro started the match with the kick off. GORNIK PIASKI's Maciej Fetor suffered a sore thigh after 4 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 6th match minute, Andarilhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. If Lucjan Wielkopolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Andarilhos getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Diamantino Valverde hit a great ball. In the 13th match minute, Andarilhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romão Neves to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Jairo Soeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrzej Kochniarczyk was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Jorge Braga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrzej Kochniarczyk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Andarilhos's Sérgio Gameiro got control of the ball when Witold Lagiewniki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andrzej Kochniarczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jorge Braga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrzej Kochniarczyk was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 27th minute, GORNIK PIASKI's Ksawery Rydzewski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Bartosz Klejnowski hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Sérgio Gameiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Wielkopolski in the 32nd minute of play. Andrzej Kochniarczyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Braga's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Lucjan Wielkopolski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sérgio Gameiro. Andarilhos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucjan Wielkopolski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Andrzej Kochniarczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Braga in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrzej Kochniarczyk saved GORNIK PIASKI from getting behind. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Witold Lagiewniki was the one to do the kick off. Lucjan Wielkopolski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Gameiro having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Trindade got free with Andrzej Kochniarczyk in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 55 minutes into the game, Ksawery Rydzewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GORNIK PIASKI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Andarilhos the free kick. Ksawery Rydzewski hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Jorge Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Andrzej Kochniarczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sérgio Gameiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Lagiewniki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Soeiro in the 67th minute of play forced GORNIK PIASKI's goalkeeper Andrzej Kochniarczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lucjan Wielkopolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarbas Estrela kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Andrzej Kochniarczyk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Braga in the 72nd minute. Andrzej Kochniarczyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairo Soeiro's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Andrzej Kochniarczyk was a little too slow when Jorge Braga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 2-3. Andrzej Kochniarczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Soeiro in the 90th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Jairo Soeiro put it in 2-4 from a short distance just to the right of Andrzej Kochniarczyk. When the match was over Andarilhos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GORNIK PIASKI throughout the match.
