The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Bodil United's Nils Bokelund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Paulo José Gaúcho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kjell-Arne Björkqvist took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo José Gaúcho. Paulo José Gaúcho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 13 minutes of play, FC Bodil United's Kjell-Arne Björkqvist made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo José Gaúcho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute, Bo Bergström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Paraense was the one to do the kick off. Bo Bergström charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of FC Bodil United booed when Chinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball.
