In the 3rd match minute, Hogwarts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asensio Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Hogwarts's zone, Zacarias Llope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stasio Serwach came out of the goal and Zacarias Llope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to PI FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Zacarias Llope hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Villarruel in the 13th minute of play forced PI FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Uxio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Uxio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Villarruel in the 13th minute of the match. Stasio Serwach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Mambru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Zacarias Llope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eliseo Uxio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Villarruel in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubaldo Villarruel in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseo Uxio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Villarruel in the 36th minute of play forced PI FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Uxio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zenon Zarandona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ubaldo Villarruel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ubaldo Villarruel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseo Uxio was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. PI FC's Eliseo Uxio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save PI FC from getting a goal against them. When Zenon Zarandona came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Hogwarts fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zenon Zarandona couldn't finish the play. PI FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Ubaldo Villarruel scored to the left of an out of position Eliseo Uxio, making the score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in PI FC's zone, Ubaldo Villarruel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Uxio came out of the goal and Ubaldo Villarruel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd match minute, Hogwarts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Mar to maneuver through the defense. Hogwarts's Stasio Serwach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Mambru in the 81st minute of play. After 91 minutes, Nunez Elzuardi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hogwarts and the PI FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Despite being the better team, Hogwarts failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
