The supporters of BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB booed when KINDERUZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Azeredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Rafael Rebelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ildefonso Inautzi. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Rebelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 42 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when António Silva came free, but Ildefonso Inautzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Pacheco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ildefonso Inautzi came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Pacheco slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Pacheco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Rafael Rebelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Inautzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ildefonso Inautzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernabe Valiente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Carlos Pacheco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ildefonso Inautzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Carlos Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastian Andrade hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ildefonso Inautzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 played minutes BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Rutenio. After recieving a nice pass, KINDERUZ's Rafael Balsemão tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Pacheco came free, but Ildefonso Inautzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonçalo Varela's late challenge caught a BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonçalo Varela helped the player get up and apologised. Manuel Neuer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Orlanda in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute Bernabe Valiente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alo Ba in the 97th minute of play forced KINDERUZ's goalkeeper Manuel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
