If Danilo Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Ixona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeremias Regis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 40th playminute. A collision led to Leon Platense getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Javier Mundo hit a great ball. Roberto Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Malvin, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliciano Remigio made a kick off. Generoso Gomesano might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Osorio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Generoso Gomesano ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeremias Regis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Osorio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Leon Platense's Iker Sotil got a free kick in the 78th minute. Bernardo Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Regis in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Leon Platense's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Remigio came free, but Roberto Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Osorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Regis in the 87th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Delmiro Izotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the CF JABATOS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Leon Platense.
