Hayrullah Asya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Lopes in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Yuri Pitta notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Beyaz Zenciler's Hayrullah Asya. Hayrullah Asya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo da Cunha in the 10th minute of play forced Beyaz Zenciler's goalkeeper Hayrullah Asya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Leon Sport Club's Emerson Eger got a free kick in the 11th minute. Humberto Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrey Shevchenko in the 13th minute of the match. If Abdulmelik Koytan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Leon Sport Club's Anderson Gerber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hayrullah Asya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to Beyaz Zenciler getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Cankut Hazar hit a great ball. In the 21st minute of the match Emerson Eger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hayrullah Asya showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leon Sport Club were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Beyaz Zenciler's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emerson Eger took the corner. The corner ended in Emerson Eger almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Beyaz Zenciler's Hayrullah Asya did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clemente Arce in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hayrullah Asya saved Beyaz Zenciler from getting behind. A collision led to Leon Sport Club getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Marcelo da Cunha hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Beyaz Zenciler's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Lopes came free, but Hayrullah Asya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrey Shevchenko got free with Humberto Senna in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute Yuri Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayrullah Asya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abdulmelik Koytan fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beyaz Zenciler's protests and gave Abdulmelik Koytan a yellow card for diving instead. Abdulmelik Koytan hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Hayrullah Asya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Gerber in the 36th minute of play. Hayrullah Asya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anderson Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Humberto Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrey Shevchenko in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Andrey Shevchenko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Humberto Senna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrey Shevchenko had several of the Leon Sport Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 44 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-2 score and a disappointed Humberto Senna as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cláudio Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Beyaz Zenciler's Andrey Shevchenko was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 48th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
If Ahmet Kutsi Hanbeyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Sport Club's Humberto Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrey Shevchenko in the 56th minute of play. Andrey Shevchenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Senna having to interfere. Humberto Senna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrey Shevchenko's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Humberto Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrey Shevchenko in the 70th minute of the match. When Abdulmelik Koytan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. Andrey Shevchenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Leon Sport Club's Anderson Gerber got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 83rd minute, Ahmet Kutsi Hanbeyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Beyaz Zenciler's Ahmet Kutsi Hanbeyi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Humberto Senna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute Beyaz Zenciler were awarded a corner. Rüstem Yıldıray went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Beyaz Zenciler's corner Alesandro Nesta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Humberto Senna quite easily take care of the ball. Beyaz Zenciler's Andrey Shevchenko got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Leon Sport Club's zone, Andrey Shevchenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Senna came out of the goal and Andrey Shevchenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Leon Sport Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Beyaz Zenciler.
