Jacobo Tuste made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Gladiadores booed when C. A. Balnearia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Lore didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute of the match Mauricio Baldovino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobo Tuste skillfully saved the ball. Jacobo Tuste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Montae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carmelo Omero hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Matan Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Tuste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Americo Mannie charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Americo Mannie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Gladiadores got a freekick which was hit by Americo Mannie. Jacobo Tuste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacarias Pero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C. A. Balnearia's Zeledon Burni got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gladiadores's Cortez Obispo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Gladiadores from getting a goal against them. Jacobo Tuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Pero in the 30th minute of play. Constantino Oroitz's late challenge caught a C. A. Balnearia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Oroitz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gladiadores getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Constantino Oroitz hit a great ball. When Leon Mino fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Balnearia's protests and gave Leon Mino a yellow card for diving instead. Severo Diegotxe kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. C. A. Balnearia's Esteban Uzuri couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gladiadores. In the 48th minute, Constantino Oroitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauricio Baldovino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Montae in the 57th minute of play forced C. A. Balnearia's goalkeeper Jacobo Tuste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Baldovino got free with Jacobo Tuste in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacobo Tuste made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauricio Baldovino in the 69th minute. C. A. Balnearia's Evaristo Lore quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Constantino Oroitz, made in the 78th minute of the game. A collision led to C. A. Balnearia getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Florencio Fidencio hit a great ball. With a little luck, C. A. Balnearia's Jacobo Tuste got control of the ball when Mauricio Baldovino tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Gladiadores booed when C. A. Balnearia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Aires didn't get a good kick on the ball.
