Spectators: 7460 (Terracing: 5596, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) 0-1 became the score in the 3rd minute when Ezequiel Luke elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ezequiel Luke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's Ezequiel Luke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandre Toledo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexandre Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Luke in the 21st minute of the match. When Ezequiel Luke came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Estudiantes de América fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Luke couldn't finish the play. If Sidnei Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alexandre Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Balesio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Travassos to make the kick off. Manaus FC's Alexandre Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Luke in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Ignacio Donostia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias Argoitz took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre Toledo. Alexandre Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 62nd minute, Estudiantes de América's Ildefonso Balesio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Elias Argoitz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 69th playminute. After a rather tough play, Manaus FC's Alfredinho Marques got a free kick in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Sidnei Monteiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manaus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes de América the free kick. A collision led to Manaus FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Sidnei Monteiro hit a great ball. Elias Argoitz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Estudiantes de América's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 79th minute, Ezequiel Luke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexandre Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Luke, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Alexandre Toledo stood somewhat misplaced when Elias Argoitz came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 82 minute. Alexandre Toledo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melchor Evarado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 87 minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Melchor Evarado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alexandre Toledo, 0-8. In the 94th minute Elias Argoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Manaus FC's Alexandre Toledo got control of the ball when Ricardo Caton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrique Ramos hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Estudiantes de América played a much better game than Manaus FC and deserved their victory. The Manaus FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
