After 28 played minutes São Brás FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Candeias. Abílio Andrade hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Sílvio Candeias charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sílvio Candeias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes São Brás FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Candeias. With his leg Saturnino Romo managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when São Brás FC's Moisés lago fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Moisés lago fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Brás FC's protests and gave Moisés lago a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Moisés lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moisés lago to strike the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Pietro's late challenge caught a São Brás FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Pietro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Grosso United's Reynaldo Pietro got a free kick in the 57th minute. Saturnino Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Malheiro in the 60th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Moisés lago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saturnino Romo was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Sílvio Candeias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Malheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Moisés lago made a precise shot to the right of Saturnino Romo. Grosso United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Grosso United's zone, Sílvio Candeias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saturnino Romo came out of the goal and Sílvio Candeias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samuel Iago charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Iago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Grosso United getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Samuel Iago hit a great ball. Grosso United's Saturnino Romo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Malheiro in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that São Brás FC were the better team. São Brás FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
