In the 14th minute, José Paulo Macedo made a precise shot to the right of Horacio Lugo. Defensa y Justicia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Horacio Lugo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Macedo in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Macedo in the 20th minute of play forced Defensa y Justicia's goalkeeper Horacio Lugo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
