The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Veloso got free with Sorapong Raisungnurn in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, Teofilo Venceslao notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Anarquia Atlético Clube's Marcus Barreto. Marcus Barreto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rosendo Argi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Barreto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. When Gaudencio Salomone came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Tiburones Rojos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaudencio Salomone couldn't finish the play. Sorapong Raisungnurn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Macedo in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Tiburones Rojos's Maximino Gaur seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Maximino Gaur the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tiburones Rojos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Maximino Gaur had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Marcelo Veloso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sorapong Raisungnurn firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Tiburones Rojos getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Gaudencio Salomone hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Teofilo Venceslao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Teofilo Venceslao cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Marcus Barreto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Venceslao in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Barreto saved Anarquia Atlético Clube from getting behind. Sorapong Raisungnurn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Paulo Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th match minute, Anarquia Atlético Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Veloso to maneuver through the defense. Marcus Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Venceslao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Teofilo Venceslao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Teofilo Venceslao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Barreto was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Tiburones Rojos's Albano Luke was substituted for Gaudencio Salomone. The wind increased when Marcelo Veloso made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albano Luke in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Barreto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Anarquia Atlético Clube's Samuca Gomes got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st match minute, Anarquia Atlético Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Nunes to maneuver through the defense. When Albano Luke came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Tiburones Rojos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Luke couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the game, Teofilo Venceslao recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcus Barreto. Teofilo Venceslao showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Teofilo Venceslao struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Marcus Barreto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiburones Rojos. Marcus Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Venceslao, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tiburones Rojos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
