Spectators: 7519 (Terracing: 5640, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Robert Czerniak got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Górnik Łęczna's Florian Kasiewski got a free kick in the 6th minute. Górnik Łęczna's Filip Hatman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Oloieru in the 7th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Dragoş Oloieru notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Górnik Łęczna's Filip Hatman. Filip Hatman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filip Hatman came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Progresul Pitesti's Horia Caranică. But to his dismay, Horia Caranică quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Filip Hatman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Ghelmegean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maciej Buczak kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Filip Hatman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucian Panțuru in the 16th minute of the match. Florian Kasiewski hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Lucian Panțuru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filip Hatman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Górnik Łęczna's Filip Hatman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Oloieru in the 30th minute of play. Lucian Panțuru scored 0-5 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filip Hatman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Górnik Łęczna's Filip Hatman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Oloieru in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Górnik Łęczna's zone, Lucian Panțuru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Hatman came out of the goal and Lucian Panțuru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dragoş Oloieru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dragoş Oloieru came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Progresul Pitesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dragoş Oloieru couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Lucian Panțuru made the kick off in the second half. Horia Caranică could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Filip Hatman made a huge save. Nistor Ghelmegean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Górnik Łęczna's Filip Hatman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Caranică in the 57th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Aristide Cordescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Filip Hatman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 71 played minutes Górnik Łęczna got a freekick which was hit by Wlodzimierz Maciejewski. Teodor Stan kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Antoni Gondek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Şandru having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Lucian Panțuru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Progresul Pitesti's Horia Caranică slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filip Hatman. That made the score 0-8 after 93 minutes of play. The Górnik Łęczna fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Progresul Pitesti were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
