After some careless play in the Zamalek FC defense, Rodolfo Leizarraga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Merlin Dolan. When Nestor Silviano came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Juventus Argentina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Silviano couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Zamalek FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Denny Olson hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Leizarraga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Merlin Dolan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Merlin Dolan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Leizarraga's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Rodolfo Leizarraga put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Merlin Dolan. In the 39th minute, Nestor Silviano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The wind increased when Malcolm Neal made the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Leizarraga took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Merlin Dolan. Merlin Dolan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Leizarraga in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Merlin Dolan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Merlin Dolan was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Rodolfo Leizarraga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodolfo Leizarraga really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. Merlin Dolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Leizarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Juventus Argentina FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
