Rodolfo Francho charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Francho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodolfo Francho kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Francisco Vincente, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Maurino got free with Martin Rivero in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Olentzaro in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Rivero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Club Atlético Temperley getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Lino Lizbeth hit a great ball. A collision led to Cardiff City FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rodolfo Francho hit a great ball. Damian Silvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Oliveiro in the 20th minute of the match. Baltasar Maurino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Martin Rivero firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Temperley defense, Roman Oliveiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Silvino. The Club Atlético Temperley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Silvino should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the game, Cardiff City FC's Primitivo Ciano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damian Silvino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Cardiff City FC's Martin Rivero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Olentzaro in the 34th minute of play. Damian Silvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Ciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Olentzaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Baltasar Maurino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Baltasar Maurino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Club Atlético Temperley's Damian Silvino got control of the ball when Roman Oliveiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cardiff City FC's Martin Rivero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Olentzaro in the 70th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Primitivo Ciano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Damian Silvino. That made the score 0-5 in the 73 minute of play. Roman Oliveiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Olentzaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Rivero having to interfere. When Primitivo Ciano fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cardiff City FC's protests and gave Primitivo Ciano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Cardiff City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Ciano to maneuver through the defense. Martin Rivero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Maurino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes, Victor Henric mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Temperley and the Cardiff City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes Club Atlético Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Victor Henric. The Cardiff City FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cardiff City FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
