Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Maicon Bertassi kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the game, FrenaHayBache's Vicente Elija nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Róbson Netto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 12th minute, Wanderson Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute of the match, Vicente Elija got a very nice opportunity to score, but Róbson Netto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Róbson Netto was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Vicente Elija capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vicente Elija really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The supporters of FrenaHayBache booed when Atlético Mineiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fábio Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes, FrenaHayBache's Vladimiro Lluc shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Róbson Netto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FrenaHayBache reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Paulista during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Elija in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Róbson Netto saved Atlético Mineiro from getting behind. A collision led to Atlético Mineiro getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Luís Fábio Gaspar hit a great ball. In the 28th match minute, Atlético Mineiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Paulista to maneuver through the defense. After 29 played minutes, FrenaHayBache's Vladimiro Lluc shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Róbson Netto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Róbson Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Abajas, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Róbson Netto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Abajas went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Haroldo Peli hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 41st match minute, Atlético Mineiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson Koehler to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Ernesto Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, FrenaHayBache's Vladimiro Lluc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Róbson Netto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Mineiro's zone, Vicente Elija stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Róbson Netto came out of the goal and Vicente Elija tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Elija to strike the kick off in the second half. Haroldo Peli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Róbson Netto came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by FrenaHayBache's Vicente Elija. But to his dismay, Vicente Elija quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 68th minute, Luís Fábio Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paolo Matro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atlético Mineiro's Róbson Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Elija in the 72nd minute of play. Hugo Abajas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Róbson Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Anselmo Abeita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbson Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Abeita took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Róbson Netto. Róbson Netto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 90th minute, Paolo Matro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atlético Mineiro's Róbson Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Elija in the 92nd minute of play.
