A collision led to Newpi Academy getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Leopoldo Erlantz hit a great ball. Benicio Romo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dionisio Abaurre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vitricidas's Daniel Nardo in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newpi Academy's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Txordon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's Edgard Quintun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabricio Romildo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabricio Romildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Erlantz, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute, Edgard Quintun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newpi Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Lázaro Librado kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Vitricidas's Benicio Romo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Maximiliano Santiago in the 43 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Vitricidas's Aaron Bras got a free kick in the 45th minute. Fabricio Romildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Quintun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Edgard Quintun made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Vitricidas getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Benicio Romo hit a great ball. In the 57thth minute of the game Edgard Quintun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vitricidas's Fabricio Romildo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Newpi Academy fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Newpi Academy's Edgard Quintun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 62 minutes into the match, Newpi Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Boniel came free, but Dionisio Abaurre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benicio Romo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabricio Romildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Erlantz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd match minute, Vitricidas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Dalmu to maneuver through the defense. When Daniel Nardo came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Vitricidas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Nardo couldn't finish the play. Orlando Dalmu struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Dionisio Abaurre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vitricidas. Jeremias Cuartio's late challenge caught a Vitricidas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremias Cuartio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Jeremias Cuartio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Orlando Dalmu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Vitricidas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Newpi Academy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
