Vergaray Esquide stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Guilherme Correia's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽ fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when ⚽ VILA REAL F.ᑕ. MOC ⚽'s Luís Guilherme Correia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ahmet Korkut Hacıbeyoğlu hit a great ball. Vergaray Esquide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Teles in the 38th minute of play. Hernani Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vergaray Esquide having to interfere. Luís Guilherme Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vergaray Esquide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salas Ibero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Casado Armental hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match.
