After a defensive mix-up in ΠΑΟΚ FC's zone, Lech Walaszkiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Themos Stamelos came out of the goal and Lech Walaszkiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10thth minute of the game Kylian Henry who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Husaria Tarnów's Petrus Szczęsny was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Petros Giannakis kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Husaria Tarnów got a freekick which was hit by Wincent Dynda. 18 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lech Walaszkiewicz came free, but Themos Stamelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the ΠΑΟΚ FC defense, Wladyslaw Czeszyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Themos Stamelos. The ΠΑΟΚ FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Themos Stamelos should have stopped the shot. Lech Czaplicki took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Themos Stamelos. Themos Stamelos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kylian Henry got free with Petrus Szczęsny in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Achilleas Vasilatos hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Petros Giannakis got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Themos Stamelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wladyslaw Czeszyk in the 33rd minute of play. Kylian Henrys short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Petrus Szczęsny to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of ΠΑΟΚ FC booed when Husaria Tarnów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukasz Bejrut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexis Stratigakis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Petrus Szczęsny. Husaria Tarnów's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Themos Stamelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Walaszkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 44 in the game by Kylian Henry from a close distance when the talented Petrus Szczęsny managed to make a qualified save. Husaria Tarnów's players were relieved. Kylian Henrys short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Petrus Szczęsny to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wladyslaw Czeszyk made a kick off. Themos Stamelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukasz Bejrut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Themos Stamelos came out and tried to block the shot, but Lech Czaplicki slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 66th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Kylian Henry notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Husaria Tarnów's Petrus Szczęsny. Petrus Szczęsny was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Themos Stamelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wladyslaw Czeszyk in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Husaria Tarnów's Lech Czaplicki ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Themos Stamelos. Themos Stamelos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-5. Husaria Tarnów's Lech Czaplicki got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lech Walaszkiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Themos Stamelos made a huge save. Achilleas Vasilatos charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Achilleas Vasilatos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ΠΑΟΚ FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Achilleas Vasilatos hit a great ball. In the 87th match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orestis Dourekas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kylian Henry in the 89th minute of play forced Husaria Tarnów's goalkeeper Petrus Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Husaria Tarnów played a much better game than ΠΑΟΚ FC and deserved their victory. The ΠΑΟΚ FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
