In the 2nd minute of the match, Alessandro Checchia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Agustin Avellaneda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Chepe Abel lost his temper 4 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Alberto Diana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acilia Town's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Diana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilo Abellaneda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beppe Scannella having to make a save. Sportivo Chupeño's Teofilo Abellaneda pulled a muscle in his leg after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Corvasce during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sportivo Chupeño's Misael Abarca was substituted for Teofilo Abellaneda. In the 45th minute, Aurelio Corvasce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alberto Diana made the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Beppe Scannella successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urki Abello during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Acilia Town booed when Sportivo Chupeño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Misael Abarca didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Acilia Town support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
