That made the score 4-1 in the 37 minute of play. 范鸿源 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Brion in the 41st minute. 46 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Hodei dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 范鸿源, 5-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastián Izquierdo was the one to do the kick off. 范鸿源 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Brion in the 53rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Martin Palermo F.C. had played much better football throughout.
