Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) T H F C's Roger Crossley started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. T H F C's Dion Kerridge got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, Reuben Howarth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. T H F C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Braga Junior FC the free kick. In the 12th minute, Reuben Howarth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kiko Neves hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Geraldo Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dion Kerridge in the 16th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Roger Crossley got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Geraldo Moreno quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Roger Crossley might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geraldo Moreno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roger Crossley ran back to his position shaking his head. Claudinei Passos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 22nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Freddie Bloom managed to get in a good position for a shot. T H F C's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddie Bloom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geraldo Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Braga Junior FC's Geraldo Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Crossley in the 33rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Paraíba was the one to do the kick off. Edgar do Valle's late challenge caught a T H F C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar do Valle helped the player get up and apologised. Edgar do Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute of the match T H F C got a corner. Braga Junior FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roger Crossley ran over to the corner to take the kick. Moisés Pirani thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Geraldo Moreno, a very annoying self made goal in the 54th minute which led to 0-1. Dion Kerridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geraldo Moreno having to interfere. In the 67th minute, T H F C's Jonny Dexter dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. If Roger Crossley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Braga Junior FC's Geraldo Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Crossley in the 75th minute of play. Geraldo Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Crossley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 minutes, Matty Tinker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the T H F C and the Braga Junior FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Matty Tinker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dion Kerridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geraldo Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Crossley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
