Albert Lövskog was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute, Danilo Milian made a precise shot to the right of Albert Lövskog. Djurgården IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 16th minute Angelino Bernard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Lövskog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Lövskog showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Afonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Bernard in the 45th minute of play forced Djurgården IF's goalkeeper Albert Lövskog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Djurgården IF's Albert Lövskog played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Afonso in the 46th minute of play. After the first half El Retorno de Palermo were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tobias Jönsson to strike the kick off in the second half. The El Retorno de Palermo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 58 minutes into the game, Julian Afonso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Albert Lövskog. Julian Afonso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Danilo Milian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Albert Lövskog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Djurgården IF defense, Angelino Bernard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albert Lövskog. The Djurgården IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albert Lövskog should have stopped the shot. Guillermo Espiridion hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Albert Lövskog made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Angelino Bernard sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Albert Lövskog successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Danilo Milian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelino Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Lövskog having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Bernard got free with Albert Lövskog in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Djurgården IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. El Retorno de Palermo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
