After some careless play in the Parque Europa FC defense, Gunnar Nordahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orti Figueres. The Parque Europa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orti Figueres should have stopped the shot. When Selmo Alabern fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parque Europa FC's protests and gave Selmo Alabern a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Al-Norr booed when Parque Europa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selmo Alabern didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roldán Treviño took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Egon Sundström. Al-Norr's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, Parque Europa FC's Senen Pena made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egon Sundström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Egon Sundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frances Sánchez in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gunnar Gren was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Gunnar Nordahl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Al-Norr fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After 58 minutes, Senen Pena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parque Europa FC and the Al-Norr players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Parque Europa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Senen Pena to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute of the match Henrik Engman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orti Figueres showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Parque Europa FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Mingo Cordoba hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Gunnar Nordahl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Al-Norr fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 67 minutes into the match, Gunnar Gren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orti Figueres. Parque Europa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gunnar Gren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Senen Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Orti Figueres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Nordahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute, Roldán Treviño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orti Figueres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Nordahl in the 77th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Al-Norr got a freekick which was hit by Kristoffer Johansson. Senen Penas short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Egon Sundström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 84 minutes into the match, Parque Europa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Nordahl came free, but Orti Figueres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orti Figueres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Nordahl in the 86th minute of play. Orti Figueres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Gren in the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Parque Europa FC's Selmo Alabern got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Gustaf Fagrell took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Orti Figueres. Parque Europa FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
