Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunnar Gren in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucjan Porajewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gunnar Gren received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucjan Porajewski came out and tried to block the shot, but Gunnar Gren slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 73rd minute. Gunnar Nordahl's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Lucjan Porajewski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 80 played minutes Gunnar Gren could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-12 into the left cross. In the 89th minute, Gunnar Gren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucjan Porajewski. The goal made the score 0-14.
