Simon Vogelsang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Tavio in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, TSV Delliehausen's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Chap came free, but Simon Vogelsang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Garaile during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, was totally fooled by TSV Delliehausen's Christian Plate, who 9 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 12th minute, Everardo Tavio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC LeX Luthor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, AC LeX Luthor's Gaudencio Sindo got a free kick in the 19th minute. With a little luck, AC LeX Luthor's Thibaut Courtois got control of the ball when Niclas Hölderlin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute Everardo Tavio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Vogelsang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TSV Delliehausen's Simon Vogelsang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Chap in the 32nd minute of play. Simon Vogelsang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Llanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everardo Tavio in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Vogelsang saved TSV Delliehausen from getting behind. Thibaut Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Plate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 40 minutes, Domingo Llanos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC LeX Luthor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Llanos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herbert Neffin's late challenge caught a AC LeX Luthor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herbert Neffin helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Everardo Tavio managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC LeX Luthor's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Tavio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Vogelsang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Simon Vogelsang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Everardo Tavio went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Neffin, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Hölderlin in the 82nd minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Hölderlin came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
