Valdo Passos's late challenge caught a FC Truseni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdo Passos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to The Beatles getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Valdo Passos hit a great ball. Roger Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonid Nazaria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes, Leonid Nazaria made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. The Beatles's Roger Silva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the game, The Beatles's Emerson de Salles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anibal Aritza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Leonid Nazaria's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. If Enrique Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge de Sena in the 31st minute of play. Nicolae Papuc kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Roger Silva made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Mihail Postolache sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of FC Truseni booed when The Beatles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tostão Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 played minutes FC Truseni got a freekick which was hit by Leonid Nazaria. Tostão Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 48 minutes in the game Mihail Postolache after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Roger Silva. A very good opportunity. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mihail Postolache stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Mihail Postolache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in The Beatles's zone, Teodor Cornea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Silva came out of the goal and Teodor Cornea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When FC Truseni's Mihail Postolache in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Beatles's Roger Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Cornea in the 60th minute of play. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Truseni's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jorge de Sena was slow to take the kick. During this time The Beatles's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Cícero Costa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Nicolae Papuc hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Roger Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Postolache, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After some careless play in the FC Truseni defense, Jorge de Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anibal Aritza. The FC Truseni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anibal Aritza should have stopped the shot. The Beatles's Teodoro Carioca was substituted for Emerson de Salles. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Mircea Dadu got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of The Beatles booed when FC Truseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Papuc didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, The Beatles's Jorge de Sena tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Anibal Aritza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge de Sena in the 83rd minute. With a little luck, FC Truseni's Anibal Aritza got control of the ball when Teodoro Carioca tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th play minute Enrique Cosme came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Anibal Aritza. 1-4.
