Erubiel Cordeal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 7th minute, Albino Raebert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erubiel Cordeal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Marco Tristan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pastor Beremundo charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pastor Beremundo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Xl Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Beremundo to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Albino Raebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Cordeal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Club Atlethico Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Rius came free, but Manuel Hibai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlethico Talleres's Manuel Hibai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Rius in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Xl Team's Benedicto Botello got a free kick in the 26th minute. Erubiel Cordeal came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlethico Talleres's Felipe Galindo. But to his dismay, Felipe Galindo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Erubiel Cordeal came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlethico Talleres's Albino Raebert. But to his dismay, Albino Raebert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After a rather tough play, Club Atlethico Talleres's Mauro Erlantz got a free kick in the 38th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Manuel Hibai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Rius in the 65th minute of the match. When Santiago Eladio fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xl Team's protests and gave Santiago Eladio a yellow card for diving instead. Santiago Eladio kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Club Atlethico Talleres's Manuel Hibai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Botello in the 72nd minute of play. If Agustin Iyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Club Atlethico Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Iyan came free, but Manuel Hibai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Atlethico Talleres's Albino Raebert got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Rolando Estefan kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The Xl Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atlethico Talleres were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
