Spectators: 7655 (Terracing: 5743, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patrik Almási started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Szolnoki MÁV's Roland Varga got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Warberg FC's Börje Magnusson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Warberg FC from getting a goal against them. In the 7th minute Ture Strömberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mátyás Lisztes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ture Strömberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mátyás Lisztes was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Szolnoki MÁV's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gunnar Österberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Warberg FC's players had a chance to rest. Roland Varga in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Szolnoki MÁV's Roland Varga got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Lukas Granström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, Lukas Granström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Warberg FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szolnoki MÁV the free kick. The supporters of Szolnoki MÁV booed when Warberg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Granström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Börje Magnusson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrik Almási in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Szolnoki MÁV's Lázár Zsinka got a free kick in the 39th minute. Mátyás Lisztes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Ekeberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ture Strömberg made a kick off. Börje Magnusson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Varga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Warberg FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Lukas Granström hit a great ball. Szolnoki MÁV's Mátyás Lisztes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Szolnoki MÁV from getting a goal against them. Warberg FC were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after Szolnoki MÁV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gunnar Österberg took the corner. Warberg FC's Lukas Granström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mátyás Lisztes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 75th minute, Lukas Granström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Warberg FC's zone, Roland Varga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börje Magnusson came out of the goal and Roland Varga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Almási in the 80th minute of play forced Warberg FC's goalkeeper Börje Magnusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Roland Varga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Börje Magnusson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Göran Ekeberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mátyás Lisztes having to interfere. In the 89th minute Patrik Almási shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Magnusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Szolnoki MÁV fans cheered their team off the field, for while Warberg FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
