Gotham City's Björn Fogel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC NORDLAND. 24 minutes into the match, Gotham City's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Benett came free, but Jörn Bergkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birger Benett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Björn Fogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bandit Banks having to interfere. Thor Haström's late challenge caught a FC NORDLAND's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thor Haström helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gotham City's Thor Haström got a free kick in the 35th minute. Björn Fogel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bandit Banks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Anton Magnusson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Bandit Banks made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Birger Benett was the one to do the kick off. Jörn Bergkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urban Löv in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Karl-Åke Wik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, FC NORDLAND's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Fogel came free, but Bandit Banks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gösta Pihlwall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Anton Magnusson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bandit Banks was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otto Eskilsson during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes FC NORDLAND got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Pihlwall. Wictor Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jörn Bergkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wictor Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Wictor Hansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jörn Bergkvist was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 96th minute, Charlie Svartengren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
