When Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Nazaire Shepard in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quitilipi's goalie prevented a goal. When Ruperto Goizeder fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quitilipi's protests and gave Ruperto Goizeder a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Quitilipi getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ruperto Goizeder hit a great ball. Nazaire Shepard was extremely unlucky when he, in the 7th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Salvador Ramond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazaire Shepard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Ramond stood somewhat misplaced when Cyrus Velasco came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 11 minute. Michael Owen came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Salvador Ramond could save by the left post. After 19 played minutes Cyrus Velasco rounded Quitilipi's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Nazaire Shepard received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Salvador Ramond came out and tried to block the shot, but Nazaire Shepard slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 21st minute. Jason Achin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Silvanito, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Nazaire Shepard got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Nazaire Shepard notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Quitilipi's Salvador Ramond. Salvador Ramond was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Owen in the 59th minute of play forced Quitilipi's goalkeeper Salvador Ramond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nazaire Shepard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salvador Ramond read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Nazaire Shepard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvador Ramond was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denver Grimes during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Salvador Ramond didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michael Owen went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the game, Michael Owen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Salvador Ramond was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes into the match, Quitilipi's goal looked a bit too open when Nazaire Shepard came free, but Salvador Ramond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nazaire Shepard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Salvador Ramond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Qikiqtarjuaq FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
