Spectators: 7523 (Terracing: 5643, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nazaire Shepard got the match started through his kick off. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Nazaire Shepard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nazaire Shepard in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tostão Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mochila FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Renaldo Battle was slow to take the kick. During this time Qikiqtarjuaq FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Renaldo Battle to fire away a dangerous shot which Tostão Varela despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tostão Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazaire Shepard, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Tostão Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazaire Shepard in the 19th minute of play. Tostão Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazaire Shepard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Nazaire Shepard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tostão Varela. Mochila FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nazaire Shepard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 27 minutes into the match, Mochila FC's Gilmar Pernambucano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jason Achin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Gilmar Pernambucano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mochila FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Qikiqtarjuaq FC the free kick. A collision led to Mochila FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Gilmar Pernambucano hit a great ball. With a little luck, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Jason Achin got control of the ball when Erik Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match, Erik Amorim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jason Achin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tostão Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nazaire Shepard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nazaire Shepard in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tostão Varela saved Mochila FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Nazaire Shepard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tostão Varela was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 46th minute, Erik Amorim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jason Achin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.

The wind increased when Erik Amorim made the kick off in the second half. Tostão Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazaire Shepard in the 53rd minute of the match. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Jason Achin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Amorim in the 54th minute of play. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Nazaire Shepard got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tostão Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazaire Shepard in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 68 minutes, Denver Grimes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denver Grimes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazaire Shepard in the 71st minute of play forced Mochila FC's goalkeeper Tostão Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tostão Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazaire Shepard in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Mochila FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei Quintal to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nazaire Shepard in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tostão Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nazaire Shepard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Varela having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nazaire Shepard in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tostão Varela saved Mochila FC from getting behind.
