Richard Giliusson kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the game, Alberigo Mauro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aron Åkerström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alberto Sartori was a little too slow when Jonas Edström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 14th match minute, Saint Glenn Gothenburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Termander to maneuver through the defense. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Aron Åkerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Mauro in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saint Glenn Gothenburg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Demetrio Colangelo was slow to take the kick. During this time Squadra de Pippe's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Alberigo Mauro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Aron Åkerström did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberigo Mauro in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aron Åkerström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 20 minutes into the match, Squadra de Pippe's goalkeeper Alberto Sartori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per-Åke Sjöberg. 21 minutes into the game, Demetrio Colangelo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Aron Åkerström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Demetrio Colangelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Jonas Edström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Edström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Sartori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Demetrio Colangelo in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Åkerström saved Saint Glenn Gothenburg from getting behind. After 34 minutes of play, Squadra de Pippe's Alberigo Mauro made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aron Åkerström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Aron Åkerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Colangelo in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Per-Åke Sjöberg got a free kick in the 42nd minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberigo Mauro was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Demetrio Colangelo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aron Åkerström. That made the score 1-6 in the 51 minute of play. After 56 played minutes Saint Glenn Gothenburg got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Edström. When Fabiano Boccanera fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Squadra de Pippe's protests and gave Fabiano Boccanera a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Squadra de Pippe getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Fabiano Boccanera hit a great ball. Demetrio Colangelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Aron Åkerström made a huge save. In the 64th minute, Angelo Cilli reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aron Åkerström. The goal made the score 1-7. Aron Åkerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demetrio Colangelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Dan Västlund kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberigo Mauro in the 69th minute of play forced Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goalkeeper Aron Åkerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Demetrio Colangelo got free with Aron Åkerström in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the game, Fabiano Boccanera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aron Åkerström. Fabiano Boccanera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Mattsson in the 74th minute of play forced Squadra de Pippe's goalkeeper Alberto Sartori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demetrio Colangelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Aron Åkerström made a huge save. Aron Åkerström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Mauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Squadra de Pippe's Alberigo Mauro in 77 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Aron Åkerström guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Aron Åkerström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Saint Glenn Gothenburg from getting a goal against them. Roy Mattsson hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Demetrio Colangelo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aron Åkerström came out and tried to block the shot, but Demetrio Colangelo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 83rd minute. In the 91st minute, Valter Berggren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute Angelo Cilli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Åkerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Alberigo Mauro made a precise shot to the right of Aron Åkerström. Saint Glenn Gothenburg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-11.
