The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miau Stars's Edu Prata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Miau Stars from getting a goal against them. Maria Socorro struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Barışcan İnegöllü didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miau Stars. A collision led to Miau Stars getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Nildo Ribeiro hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Mina Felina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barışcan İnegöllü was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Miau Stars's Edu Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barbaros Hatipoğlu in the 22nd minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Barbaros Hatipoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miau Stars's Edu Prata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Maria Socorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 33 minutes, Artun Tuğsan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Indiana University and the Miau Stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for Miau Stars. Maria Socorro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Barışcan İnegöllü. 0-2. After 45 played minutes Indiana University got a freekick which was hit by Barbaros Hatipoğlu. The supporters of Indiana University booed when Miau Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After 51 played minutes Indiana University got a freekick which was hit by Atalan Naim. Gildo de Andrade made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Indiana University's Tayfur Çanak. In the 62nd minute Barbaros Hatipoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edu Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Indiana University's attentive Atalan Naim managed to snatch the ball when Filipe Figueiredo made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. Barbaros Hatipoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Edu Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75thth minute of the game Barbaros Hatipoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miau Stars's Edu Prata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Indiana University made a substitution. Pierre Van Hoojdonk replaced Barbaros Hatipoğlu. Indiana University's Buğrahan Keremşah was substituted for Alparslan Nabi. In the 80th match minute, Indiana University was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artun Tuğsan to maneuver through the defense. Edu Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Van Hoojdonk in the 84th minute of play. Edu Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Buğrahan Keremşah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miau Stars's Edu Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Buğrahan Keremşah in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Akira Beatrix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Indiana University booed when Miau Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubinho Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Miau Stars had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
