Gyál United's Mihály Földesi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Juszkowski in the 7th minute of play. Mihály Földesi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tytus Skikiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When Balázs Jánosi fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gyál United's protests and gave Balázs Jánosi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gyál United getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Balázs Jánosi hit a great ball. Herbert Spychalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from László Medgyesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The MOTOR LUBLIN S.A. fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s Tytus Skikiewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Balázs Jánosi kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Gyál United getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Gábor Szaniszló hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Géza Bozsik could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Herbert Spychalski however easily saved by the left post. Aureliusz Dec kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Gyál United's Herbert Spychalski threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miklós Bodnár, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tytus Skikiewicz in the 40th minute of play forced Gyál United's goalkeeper Mihály Földesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s Damian Juszkowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihály Földesi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tytus Skikiewicz to make the kick off. Damian Juszkowski took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihály Földesi. Mihály Földesi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. With a little luck, Gyál United's Mihály Földesi got control of the ball when Damian Juszkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 64 played minutes MOTOR LUBLIN S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Wiktor Traczewski. MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s Herbert Spychalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Medgyesi in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the MOTOR LUBLIN S.A. defense, Miklós Bodnár kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herbert Spychalski. The MOTOR LUBLIN S.A. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herbert Spychalski should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute Tytus Skikiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihály Földesi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s Damian Juszkowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mihály Földesi. Mihály Földesi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. 88 minutes into the game, Damian Juszkowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gyál United the free kick. After 88 played minutes MOTOR LUBLIN S.A. got a freekick which was hit by Damian Juszkowski. Gyál United's Mihály Földesi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tytus Skikiewicz in the 90th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tytus Skikiewicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mihály Földesi. That made the score 2-5 in the 93 minute of play. MOTOR LUBLIN S.A.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
