Spectators: 7537 (Terracing: 5654, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adam Ghimiș started the match with the kick off. Champions Iasi's Cristinel Alexe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mickael Rutgers in the 4th minute of play. Cristinel Alexe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mickael Rutgers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marin Petruescu got free with Jan Zorge in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Champions Iasi's Marin Petruescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan Zorge. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Cristinel Alexe came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by De Kasteelheren's Mickael Rutgers. But to his dismay, Mickael Rutgers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Champions Iasi defense, Teun Otten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristinel Alexe. The Champions Iasi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristinel Alexe should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teun Otten in the 28th minute of play forced Champions Iasi's goalkeeper Cristinel Alexe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Abraham Brouwers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Alexe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Jan Zorge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grigore Albulescu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leontin Hâldan got free with Jan Zorge in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan Zorge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Petruescu in the 35th minute of play. Champions Iasi's Cristinel Alexe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martijn Dongen in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Champions Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cazimir Zăraşcu to maneuver through the defense. Champions Iasi's Cristinel Alexe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Brouwers in the 38th minute of play. Cristinel Alexe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martijn Dongen in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Jan Zorge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Ghimiș. Cristinel Alexe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mickael Rutgers, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Nathan Wermans kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mickael Rutgers to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, De Kasteelheren's Mickael Rutgers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristinel Alexe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Grigore Albulescu charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grigore Albulescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, Grigore Albulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 55 played minutes De Kasteelheren got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Wermans. Cazimir Zăraşcu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jan Zorge. De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jan Zorge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Petruescu in the 63rd minute of play. Champions Iasi's Cristinel Alexe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Brouwers in the 65th minute of play. Cristinel Alexe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mickael Rutgers in the 66th minute of play. Mickael Rutgers was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mickael Rutgers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Cristinel Alexe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mickael Rutgers ran back to his position shaking his head. Jan Zorge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Hâldan in the 95th minute of the match. The Champions Iasi fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. De Kasteelheren were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
