Herminio Guillelmus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pesas Rusas AFC's Herminio Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Varela in the 14th minute of play. After 16 minutes of play, Itajaí Football Club's Leonardo Varela made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herminio Guillelmus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luís Fabiano Corrêa hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Herminio Guillelmus came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Itajaí Football Club's Conrado Miranda. But to his dismay, Conrado Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Piovezan in the 25th minute of play forced Pesas Rusas AFC's goalkeeper Herminio Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Barros took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herminio Guillelmus. Herminio Guillelmus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Herminio Guillelmus came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Itajaí Football Club's Bruno Barros. But to his dismay, Bruno Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Miranda in the 37th minute of play forced Pesas Rusas AFC's goalkeeper Herminio Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Guillelmus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Reis in the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Conrado Miranda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Herminio Guillelmus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute, Bruno Barros made a precise shot to the right of Herminio Guillelmus. Pesas Rusas AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Reis got free with Herminio Guillelmus in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, Leonardo Varela dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Herminio Guillelmus, 0-11. Herminio Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
