An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Coffman in the 7th minute of play forced Puerto de Sagunto CF's goalkeeper Garaona Camino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Valdo Valerón was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puerto de Sagunto CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varennes the free kick. Garaona Camino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lee Coffman's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. A collision led to Puerto de Sagunto CF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Joachim Zaplana hit a great ball. Valdo Valerón got his second yellow card in the match during the 17th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In a very dangerous position, a player in Puerto de Sagunto CF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! After 22 minutes of play, Varennes's Lee Coffman made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Garaona Camino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ekaitz Jorquera kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Varennes's Ellsworth Lindsay got a free kick in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the Puerto de Sagunto CF defense, Lee Coffman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Garaona Camino. The Puerto de Sagunto CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Garaona Camino should have stopped the shot. Garaona Camino came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Varennes's Ellsworth Lindsay. But to his dismay, Ellsworth Lindsay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Maximiano Caballero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puerto de Sagunto CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiano Caballero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brice Leach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 57 played minutes Puerto de Sagunto CF got a freekick which was hit by Zahar Ucero. The supporters of Puerto de Sagunto CF booed when Varennes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felicien Mooney didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes Puerto de Sagunto CF got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Pascua. Garaona Camino was a little too slow when Jules Brewster got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-5. With a little luck, Puerto de Sagunto CF's Garaona Camino got control of the ball when Ellsworth Lindsay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bedirhan Türk charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bedirhan Türk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th match minute, Varennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bedirhan Türk to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Varennes's goalkeeper Brice Leach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Garaona Camino came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Varennes's Lee Coffman. But to his dismay, Lee Coffman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. When Joachim Zaplana was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. After 82 played minutes Puerto de Sagunto CF got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Zaplana. In the 85th minute, Ellsworth Lindsay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Garaona Camino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. In the 88th minute, Lee Coffman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ellsworth Lindsay took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garaona Camino. Garaona Camino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9.
